Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our professional representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to the luxurious Arusha Coffee Lodge, one of Tanzania’s finest boutique lodges. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing after your international flight and enjoying the beautiful surroundings as you prepare for your romantic safari adventure.

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart at 8:00 a.m. for Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful wildlife sanctuary located beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive.

Lake Manyara is famous for its rare tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, and an impressive variety of birdlife including flamingos, pelicans, hornbills, and kingfishers. The park’s lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, and lakeshore provide a stunning backdrop for your first safari experience.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, travelling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, there is an opportunity to visit the famous Olduvai Gorge, where Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey discovered some of the earliest evidence of human evolution dating back over two million years.

Continue into the endless plains of the Serengeti, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations. Depending on the season, witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration as thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move across the plains in search of fresh grazing. Resident wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, cheetahs, and leopards can be seen throughout the year.

Your accommodation will be at Ndutu Safari Lodge, beautifully situated beneath giant acacia trees overlooking Lake Ndutu. With no fences around the lodge, wildlife frequently wanders through the grounds, creating an authentic African safari experience.

Day 4: Full-Day Serengeti Safari

Today is dedicated to exploring the magnificent Serengeti. After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive accompanied by your experienced safari guide, who will take you to the best wildlife viewing areas based on seasonal animal movements.

Visit the famous Hippo Pool, where dozens of hippos lounge in the water alongside crocodiles. Search for large prides of lions resting beneath acacia trees and scan the open plains for cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and countless antelope species. During migration season, you may find yourself surrounded by thousands of wildebeest and zebras stretching as far as the eye can see.

Day 5: Another Full Day in Serengeti

Enjoy another unforgettable day discovering different regions of the Serengeti. Explore the famous granite kopjes, ancient volcanic rock formations that provide shelter for lions, leopards, and other predators.

The Serengeti’s diverse habitats offer exceptional wildlife photography opportunities and excellent chances to spot secretary birds, ostriches, hyenas, jackals, vultures, and numerous birds of prey. Every game drive offers unique wildlife encounters, making each moment truly memorable.

Return to the lodge for dinner beneath the African stars.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart for the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area, carrying picnic lunch boxes from your lodge.

Descend approximately 600 metres into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera for an unforgettable game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, warthogs, lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and numerous bird species.

The crater’s unique ecosystem and breathtaking scenery have earned it UNESCO World Heritage status and make it one of Africa’s finest wildlife destinations.

Later ascend to the crater rim for overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, offering spectacular panoramic views.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Zanzibar

After breakfast, bid farewell to mainland Tanzania and drive back to Arusha.

Following lunch, transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to the beautiful island of Zanzibar.

Upon arrival, our representative will meet you and transfer you to Karafuu Beach Resort & Spa, one of Zanzibar’s premier luxury beachfront resorts located along the island’s tranquil east coast.

Spend the evening relaxing on the beach while enjoying the warm Indian Ocean breeze.

Day 11: Zanzibar – Nairobi – Departure
