Day 1: Kilimanjaro – Arusha

Welcome to your Tanzania and Kenya Migration Safari! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our Tanzania representative will meet you and transfer you to Arusha for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its rare tree-climbing lions, rich birdlife, and scenic beauty. Following lunch at Kirurumu Manyara Lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Lake Manyara is home to over 400 bird species, including thousands of flamingos, pelicans, cormorants and storks. Wildlife commonly seen includes elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, baboons and monkeys.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 metres into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera for a full-day game drive.

The crater supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. Return to the lodge in the evening.

Day 4: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, travel to Serengeti National Park via the historic Olduvai Gorge archaeological site. After lunch at Serengeti Sopa Lodge, enjoy afternoon game drives across the endless plains.

Serengeti is world-famous for the annual Great Wildebeest Migration, where over one million wildebeests and hundreds of thousands of zebras journey towards Kenya’s Masai Mara in search of fresh grazing.

Day 5: Serengeti – Western Corridor

After breakfast, depart with packed lunch for a full-day safari following the migration into Serengeti’s Western Corridor.

This region is renowned for dramatic Grumeti River crossings, where giant Nile crocodiles lie in wait. Late in the day, arrive at Kirawira Luxury Tented Camp overlooking the western Serengeti plains.

Day 6: Full Day Serengeti Western Corridor

Spend another exciting day tracking the wildebeest migration through the Western Corridor. Besides massive herds of wildebeests and zebras, you may encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and numerous antelope species.

Day 7: Serengeti – Masai Mara

After breakfast, depart Serengeti with packed lunch and travel via the Isibania Border into Kenya. After immigration formalities, meet your Kenyan safari guide and continue to Masai Mara National Reserve with game viewing en route to your camp.

Day 8–9: Full Day Masai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy two full days exploring the world-famous Masai Mara. Search for the Big Five and witness the dramatic Mara River crossings, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras brave crocodile-infested waters during the migration season.

Morning and afternoon game drives provide excellent opportunities to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and numerous plains game. An optional visit to a traditional Maasai village offers insight into the rich culture and traditions of the Maasai people.

Day 10: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Following lunch at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp, enjoy afternoon game drives.

Lake Nakuru is famous for its white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, leopards and impressive birdlife, including flamingos when conditions permit.

Day 11: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi – Departure
